Specific assessments can be requested for the purpose of legal proceedings by the court itself, the Crown Prosecution Service or solicitors acting on behalf of a client. A full court report will then be prepared detailing the assessment and outcome.

A full written instruction is required before any assessment can begin.

Reports for criminal, civil, family & youth courts can be provided once a full assessment has been conducted with the relevant parties.

Once the assessment has been completed, a report can normally be prepared within 10 working days.

The psychologist can be available to present the report in court if requested to do so, but will require advance notice of approximately 4 weeks.
